“Double Gloucester” A concert by  The Cappella Singers and visiting choir Cantare from Gouda in The Netherlands   St Peter’s Church, Rendcomb Sunday 26th April, 2009

This concert included music by Byrd, Purcell, Dowland, Bairstow, Mendelssohn and Blatchly. Each choir sang a few numbers individually, then they combined forces to sing an 8-part piece by Felix Mendelssohn, Am Himmelfahrtstage.

A retiring collection was made in aid of the renovation of Rendcomb Village Hall, where performers and audience alike enjoyed a party after the concert.
